Michele L. Shaffer, PhD is a collaborative statistician who has worked for more than 20 years as a statistician in academic medicine and industry. Dr. Shaffer is currently Adjunct Associate Professor of Public Health Sciences at Penn State College of Medicine, where she was previously a tenured Associate Professor in the Division and Biostatistics and Bioinformatics. Dr. Shaffer has collaborated in several areas including pediatrics, psychiatry, pulmonology, geriatrics, and oncology. Areas of statistical expertise include complex study design and longitudinal studies.
