Michele L. Shaffer, PhD is a collaborative statistician who has worked for more than 20 years in academic medicine. Dr. Shaffer is currently Adjunct Associate Professor of Public Health Sciences at Penn State College of Medicine, where she was previously a tenured Associate Professor in the Division and Biostatistics and Bioinformatics. Dr. Shaffer has collaborated long-term in pediatrics, psychiatry, pulmonology, and geriatrics. Areas of statistical expertise include complex study design and longitudinal studies.
